Hi Rose,
My husband helped me with the power point I did for the Congolese Women. Most computers have some kind of power point program. If you go online you can find a power point tutorial - just type in power point tutorial and you'll find it. you'll want to have pictures, as well as words and statements in your presentation. Let me know if you need more help, I can go into more detail. Love, Heidi

Rose,

It was touching to read your message and story. I commend you for being a survivor and giving back to help others. We need more people like you. I appreciate you taking time to post your comments about my song, "Daddy's Little Girl" on YouTube. I had some e-mails regarding your post already. Your sharing helped others to share their pain. Music is my gift and my way of spreading the horrifics of domestiic violence with the hopes of stopping it. Music can reach the hearts and souls of people where other methods fall short. History has proven this.

You are an inspiration and a blessing! Do stay in touch and whatever I can do to help, I'm here. Have a blessed day!

With love,
Peter Love

Hi Rose, Thanks for the question. I created a power point to show at my house. I cooked dinner and charged 20 a plate. A lot of people left more than that. I invited just people I knew, but you could get it way bigger with flyers, etc. The power point was crucial because people got to see what was actually happening. Let me know if you are interested and I can send it to you. Sincerely, Heidi

As the violence in the Eastern DRC continues, your support & your voice are critical. Hundreds of thousands of women and girls have been raped, and thousands more are at risk every day.

SHOW YOUR SUPPORT , let the women of the Congo hear you, speak out against this violence, send your message of hope, empowerment, change and victory.

CHANGING THE STORY
Join V-Day’s global campaign STOP RAPING OUR GREATEST RESOURCE: POWER TO THE WOMEN AND GIRLS OF DRC and bring much needed attention to the needs of Congolese women and girls.

The atrocities being perpetrated against women and girls in the Democratic Republic of Congo are nothing less than a femicide.
